Sooo much gold! This newsletter provides so much value!

I too have the same question as Lea Andres. I’ve heard attaching work, links, portfolio etc will more than likely send your first email to their spam/junk?

Hey Leslie! Thanks so much for your comment and patience on my reply - I'm just now seeing your comment for some reason. I just replied to Lae's comment too - outside of my general response, after doing some quick research, I came across: https://emailable.com which looks like a super useful tool! I'm going to test it out and make a TikTok video on it.

SO MUCH value in everything you post Kelly! Thank you! When attaching previous work or examples, does this affect the email being delivered properly? I've heard a lot of creators say not to attach links or portfolios in the first email because it will get sent to their spam. Thank you always!

Hey Lae, thanks so much for the love on this post! I appreciate you for taking out the time to comment. I apologize for the delayed reply - I'm just now seeing your comment for some reason... to answer your question: I've heard similar things said throughout the community, but I've personally received cold outreach emails from other creators linking their work. So I guess it really just depends on how the portfolio or links are communicated in your email. The less spammy it comes off, the better chances you have of it not being sent to spam.

Hey Mary-ann, I appreciate your patience on my reply - these comments weren't showing up in my notifications for some reason. I had to manually check, sorry about that! In place of case studies featuring analytics, I'd focus on other social proof such as 5-star reviews from clients (think positive review referencing professionalism, quality of work, and anything else you'd like featured). Let me know if you have any other follow up questions!
